A single-storey house arranged around a shaded court. The plan is held by two long walls that carry the roof and divide the site into served and serving ground.

Openings are few and deliberate. Light enters through a narrow eastern slot in the morning and washes the plaster surfaces of the living room until midday, after which the house returns to shadow.
